plaid laced bag
Plaid Laced Bag - 1 of 1. We have combined labor-intensive knitting and weaving techniques, lacing mohair cords through a machine knit panel, resulting in a plaid effect. We used deadstock acrylic yarn that we sourced from a surplus warehouse in Providence, Rhode Island. The main body of this bag has been knit with a combination of this shiny blue deadstock yarn, along with one of our favorite elastic colourways ‘kelp’ (composed of maroon, navy, and dark green). In our studio we refer to ‘kelp’ as the ‘deparel black’ as we never use a true black in our knit designs. This messenger style bag can be worn cross body or over the shoulder. The closure mechanism is a cinching drawstring with a mohair cord and bead toggle, featuring our signature deparel beads. A functional, yet vibrant one-of-a-kind piece that can be used as a stand-out daily wearer. All orders come in a deparel garment bag.
